Enjoyed it. McEwan has a taste for weird topics, so oh, yes! I’m trying other stuff quite soon. I wish I didn’t watch Enduring Love because I bet it’s a catchy reading, but we’ll see about that.
About the book. Many themes: love, friendship, cowardice, creation, personal success, seasoned with political scandals and moral implications of euthanasia. What brings all these together? A woman, of course. Though dead (at the very beginning of the novel), she instigates all the events that are about to happen (which involve 4 of her former lovers), eventually leading to Amsterdam.
